SINOPSIS

Batrisyia, the main character of the film lives together with her mom. Batrisyia and her mom has a very strong bonding with each other. As she grows up, she becomes very busy and spends less time with her mom. While on the other side, Batrisyia's mom feels lonely. One day, while Aila was at work, she realised that it was her mom’s birthday and she has forgotten it. She immediately got a cake and rushed to her house. When she reaches home, she see’s her mom lying on the floor.

Will we be able to find out what has happened to her mom?

PRE-PRODUCTION:

Week 1 :

One our first day of meet, we discussed and analysed all the stories that has been pitched. After several opinions and thoughts, we decided to buy the script from Izyan for an amount. Once we bought the script, we read through it and decided do make some changes.

Week 2 :

After several changes made upon the script, we than had a meeting to analyse and breakdown the script. We did this in order to have a smooth working flow later on in our production period. We than later divided our roles and tasks that needed to be done. Few of us took the part on doing poster for our upcoming film as well as for casting and the others took on the part to find locations and deciding on film’s moodboard and so on.

Week 3 :

We had a meeting to discuss on each of our member’s progress.  At the same time, we also discussed on finding for sponsors for our short film. We listed a few companies and stalls that would help us sponsor for our film by both financially or by material support.

Week 4 :

We worked on finding locations for our film. We managed to find a homestay around Petrajaya at a affordable price and was very suitable for our film. We also fixed a date to have casting audition in order to find the right actor for our film.

Week 5 :

We were able to find the right cast for our film. We then did a last meeting before we proceeded with our production process. During this meet, we finalised on our shooting scheduling, budgeting, food and drinks and so on. We were all prepared for our shooting as we managed to do all our part on time.

PRODUCTION:

Day 1:

we arrived at Homestay Inap Desa Desa Guru around 9am and we set up straight away. we then continued shooting from morning until evening and we managed to shoot 10 scenes just as planned.

Day 2:

our call time was at 8 am and we set up everything just in time.in the morning and did one scene at night. we filmed from 10 pm to 3 in the morning and had loads of fun doing it.

Day 3:

our call time was 8 am and got everything ready. we had 1 or 2 scenes to shoot and eventually got it done early than expected. we had to quickly wrap and pack everything because by 2pm we had to check out from the homestay.

Day 4:

 our last day of shooting is at Unimas library to shoot an office scene. we shot the scene in the morning until the afternoon. the exciting part was getting our sponsors beverage to be used in the film. there were difficulties in shooting because we were in a public area and the audio wasnt doing well. However, with group's coorperation, we managed to pull it off!

POST-PRODUCTION:

1. Video Assembling
Our editor will work on transporting all the raw footages into editing software and starts assembling them according to the story's narrative. 

2. Rough cut/ Editing
Our editor will start including effects that could make our film more interesting and that could attract audience attention. At this stage, editor will also produce the trailer for our film.

3. Editing sound
Our editor will be working together with sound director to at the end of editing stage. Here, they'll be working on adding songs,sounds and more elements that makes  the film worth to watch.
